Elizabeth Gulis, MAI

Elizabeth Gulis, MAI, is a Senior Commercial Appraiser with Praedium Valuation Group in Chicago. Liz began her appraisal career with Praedium in 2005 as a residential appraiser.  For the next seven years Liz became skilled at appraising many different types of residential properties including single family houses, condominiums, co-ops and 2-4 unit apartment buildings.  Liz’s specialty area was appraising custom, high-end, single family homes and condos in the Lincoln Park, Lakeview and Gold Coast neighborhoods of Chicago.

In 2012, Liz decided to take on a new challenge and moved to Praedium Valuation Group’s commercial division.  Since 2012, Liz has worked full-time as a commercial appraiser and has prepared valuations on various types of properties, including mixed-use, multi-family, retail, office, industrial, commercial condos, and broken condominium projects.  She also has experience in diminution-in-value analysis, as well as land lease analysis.

In January of 2016, Liz earned the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and has expanded her role with Praedium Valuation Group to include appraisal review and client management.

Prior to becoming an appraiser, Liz worked in client service and product management for a consumer demographics company.

Liz earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and is an avid follower of Michigan sports.
